Ml Ahmad Namutamba, Ashraful Aid National Regional Manager explained that although this is an initiative that covers most of South Africa in the West Rand they visited Thathulwazi High School in Rietvallei, Sandile Primary in Kagiso, Da’awatul Haq Orphanage and Miftahul Uloom in Azaadville.

They chose these schools because they have deserving students and Ahmad explained that they have been working with these schools on various other projects as well.
Ashraful Aid has been helping communities for the past 25 years and provides aid to over 25 countries.
“Our organisation is beyond colour, caste or creed; we are for humanity,” said Ahmad.
They decided on stationary as the cost of living has gone up and Ahmad said that families are struggling to put food on the table, especially this time of the year. They focus on social development, food security, water relief, disaster relief, and education.

When talking about future projects in the area Ahmed said that they will look at the needs of the community and asked that if anyone wants to help they must please donate to the Ashraful Aid and their details are on their website.
