Youngsters arrive in numbers for WOF’s recruitment drive
Working on Fire (WOF) recruitment drive gave hope to the hopeless and unemployed youth.
On the outskirts of Magaliesburg, the Working on Fire programme’s recruitment drive gave hope to the hopeless and unemployed youth of the Mohale township.
At least 40 people participated in the top-up recruitment.

Neo Modisane, 24, was one of the young people who partook in the recruitment and said this has given her a radiance of hope for employment. Modisane has never worked in her life.

She said, there are no employment opportunities in the township.
‘‘Even if I am not hired, some will be. I wish to be hired but the contest was tight and tough. May the best candidates get employed,’’ she said.
The Regional Manager for the base Stephens Bokaba said the response of the people was positive.

‘‘Majority of candidates complied with the rules of the recruitment process. I am glad the young people turned out in numbers. We have five vacancies,’’ he said.
Bokaba applauded everybody who took part in the recruitment.
‘‘Our recruitment process is the most transparent because everybody can see who did well,’’ he concluded.
