Horror crash on N14 leaves four seriously injured
A horror crash involving a truck, two cars, and three bakkies on Wednesday left five people injured, four with serious injuries.
Four motorists were left severely injured after a horror crash on Wednesday, March 8. The collision took place on Wednesday afternoon on the N14 direction of Krugersdorp, in Nietgedacht Lanseria.
At about 15:05 Netcare 911 responded to the scene along with Emer-G-Med. Involved in the horrific collision were a truck, two cars, and three bakkies.
“We were informed that the truck driver was unaware of the vehicles approaching the opposite direction. This led to a collision in which one car had fallen under the bridge and extensive damage was done to the other vehicles,” said Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst.
He added the victims of the collision involved five people who were all male.
“It is reported that four people had been severely injured and one sustained minor injury. Once stabilised by the emergency practitioners they were all transported to a hospital for further care.”
