Dr Yusuf Dadoo on the importance of environmental health
More than 100 patients, visitors, and staff members were reached during an environmental health campaign at Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital.
Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital recently held a campaign to highlight environmental health amid recent outbreaks. The focus was also on climate change.

Many activities were conducted as to how to stay safe in hot weather while demonstrations were also given on how one should wash your hands properly. The event then included educational material such as flyers handed out to everyone, to inform them of all the effects that come with not taking safety measures.

People were also educated on illnesses such as Vibrio cholerae and what the effects of it are. This campaign was aimed at reaching more than 100 patients, visitors, and staff members who were all provided clean and safe drinking water.
