Operation Bunny Park clean-up a success!
It has been a long-time coming but Operation Bunny Park Clean-Up transpired recently all thanks to the Hamptons Realty Group and garden service.
Hamptons Realty Group gave back to the community of Noordheuwel by cleaning in and around the much-adored bunny park on Wednesday, March 1.
For Hamptons Realty Group, Operation Bunny Park Clean-Up has been coming for a long time due to forces of nature out of their control but after engaging with the surrounding community for approvals and consent, all hands were on deck including those of staff and Hamptons owners. The bunny park is situated at the corners of Blouberg, Amajuba, and Hantambsberg Streets.

“Unfortunately, the event was postponed three times due to the weather conditions.
“We, unfortunately, can’t cut the grass when there have been significant rains, eventually the weather cooperated with us, and we were able to go ahead between 09:00 and at least 14:00,” said Hamptons Realty Group principal Giancarlo Agrizzi.
Assisted by The ArborTREE Company garden services and besides cutting and removing the excess grass and garden refuse, the team at Hamptons got their hands dirty and cleared all litter and disposed of any dangerous items.

“The bunny park is such an oasis for the community of Noordheuwel and we felt the best way to give back to this amazing community is by consistently maintaining and cleaning the area.
“We find that so many of our parks are not being maintained, and yet parks like this add value to the social lives of our communities in this view we wanted to step in as the private sector and give back to the community that has supported us.”
Agrizzi concluded, “Community is so important to us at Hamptons Realty Group, we believe that strong communities are irreplaceable and valuable. We are founded on family principles and so giving back is part of our ethos. We also hold the community of Krugersdorp very near and dear to us.”

For Hamptons Realty Group, community service will not stop here.
“We plan to run various clean-up campaigns in and around the Krugersdorp area. We are busy finalising dates and areas and are in consultation with various stakeholders to obtain permission to do so. We will communicate these dates with all respective parties soon. We are also planning to run various soup kitchens and similar initiatives during the winter season, which is fast approaching.”
