Gomolemo Tstasti is one of the luckiest young women in Krugersdorp after winning an amazing prize just for supporting one of her idols.
The Gauteng Sports Awards ceremony was held at the Johannesburg Stadium on April 11 and many athletes received recognition for their accomplishments in sports. Many fans could then vote for their favourite sports personality.

Gomolemo was fortunate enough to be recognised for her efforts and awarded a brand new VW Polo Sedan for voting for Banyana Banyana goalkeeper Andile Dlamini who won the highest honours for ”Sports Personality of the Year”. Her brand-new car was handed over to her by Gauteng Sports and Recreation MEC Morakane Mosupyoe.

“It shows how when women believe and support each other they will also gain and benefit from such,” said Mosupyoe.
Gomolemo was ecstatic when she was announced as the winner.
“It’s very exciting that I was just voting for someone to win and that I also ended up winning is big, and I thank God and everyone who made it possible, thank you,” said Gomolemo upon receiving her prize.
