Cradle of Hope, Dis-Chem make a difference
With winter on its way, Cradle of Hope and Dis-Chem hope to do everything they can to keep the vulnerable warm this winter.
The Cradle of Hope and Dis-Chem have come together to make a difference in the community. Winter is on its way and the cold weather will be very brutal to handle as some members of the community don’t have access to blankets or simply can not afford them.

Dis-Chem and the non-profit organisation will be donating 100 blankets to the homeless and also plan on cooking them a bowl of stew with their community feeding program to keep them warm and healthy. From Friday, May 12 Dis-Chem workers and members of Cradle of Hope will be available around Krugersdorp West in 106 Stegmann Street to continue with their charity work.

They are also encouraging members of the public to join them as they hope to bring smiles to the faces of the homeless. You can donate stew ingredients (fresh meat, potatoes, tomatoes, and onions) and you are welcome to donate old clothing and blankets.
