On the day, they hosted over 100 people for an amazing charity event that hopes to bring awareness to the community about the struggles of vulnerable children, and also raise funds.

Esperança Foundation co-founder Yolandi Pestana is very satisfied with the reception they received from the community members.
We would like more of these types of events. It’s really nice to see people reach out to us and help,” Yolandi said.
During the event, attendees would also compete for prizes in a karaoke tournament where they won wonderful prizes after showcasing their talent.

Attendees were also encouraged to donate items during the event. Many of them donated items such as two single beds, pillows, clothing, and blankets. The event was a time to not only reflect on how important it is to help those in need but doing so in the most fun-filled and wholesome manner.
