No clear details from MCLM and Eskom of when electricity will be restored
After a power outage that is currently affecting large parts of Mogale City, the municipality explained that the problem comes from Eskom and there is no estimated time of recovery.
Many Krugersdorp areas are now suffering an unexpected power outage with no anticipated timing of restoration.
According to a statement from Mogale City Local Municipality’s Energy Services, Eskom has lost power on its 132kv supply line to Mogale City.
“Eskom has dispatched technicians, but the cause has not yet been assessed, and therefore at this point, we are unable to advise on the expected duration of the outage. Residents and affected parties will be informed via local and social media and the Municipal website.”
They also apologised on behalf of Eskom and Mogale City Energy Services.
