Heartache for family as dog found dead

A male Yorkie that went missing on June 29, has been found dead, the family confirmed.

The Gouws family recently put up a R5 000 reward, hoping that someone would help them find their dog called Boys. Boys was a beige-cream male Yorkie that went missing in late June and was last seen roaming around Herbert-Dent Street in Krugersdorp North.

The family has confirmed the sad news that Boys was found, however, died after being attacked by boerboels.

“He was found in Kingdom Street. The owner of the boerboels phoned me and was kind enough to let me know this street is two blocks away from my home,” confirms Karen Gouws.

Boys was only two years old at the time of his death.
