The Nunuberry Child Care Foundation’s school holiday programme not only keeps children busy but aims to improve their skills in the classroom and on the sports field. Schools reopen next week Tuesday, July 18 only and the foundation aims to keep children active and productive until then.

Organiser of the programme Ntombi Xolani added that the programme is more than just an aftercare programme.

“The programme is free of charge. We mainly focus on helping children with their schoolwork, monitoring their progress every week and even trying to see where the problem areas are. The comprehensive programme also aims at physical exercises to make kids sharp and fit for their extra murals at school.”

The foundation not only focuses on primary school children but also opens its doors to high school learners as well. The programme starts at 09:00 and ends at 14:00. To book your child for a programme be sure to contact the foundation on 064 724 4187.
