Join Nosh Food Rescue for a meal with meaning at Oakfield Farm in Muldersdrift
Enjoy a delicious meal made up of donated produce and foodstuff for a worthy cause in Muldersdrift.
Foodies from far and wide are invited to join Nosh Food Rescue on Saturday, July 29 for lunch at Oakfield Farm.
According to Hanneke van Linge, founder of Nosh, attendees will be treated to a ‘spectacular at-least-three-course meal expertly prepared and exquisitely presented’ by Chef Philippe Frydman, the executive chef at Oakfield, and his culinary team.

This gastronomy event with a difference will be utilising salvaged and rescued foodstuffs that would otherwise have gone to waste.
“You will see, that even unloved produce, in the hands of skilled and talented culinary professionals, can be beautiful and delicious!” exclaimed Hanneke.
Nosh will also host an auction of autographed sports memorabilia and possibly an amazing Nelson Mandela artwork.

“There will be a cash bar, lucky draws, and some live entertainment,” she added.
“Your support helps us rescue more surplus food and feed more people – while you get to be entertained and learn how and why we Nosh.”
