Jacobus Smith, who sometimes goes by the name of Koos or Kobus, has been in Krugersdorp since March and Marais has kept tabs on him through friends. But when she phoned around recently no one had seen or heard from him.

Marais said she is very worried and would like to find him.

The 36-year-old man has a tattoo of a skull on his left bicep, a tribal tattoo on his right bicep, and a tattoo on his left hand between his thumb and index finger. Koos also wears big black earrings and has a tongue ring. He also carries around a bag or backpack filled with old chargers and batteries and when he left in March he seemed to have a medical condition that caused a lump on his hand.
