A message of love to all women

Ster-Status finalists held a golf day at Krugersdorp Golf Club to raise funds to improve the lives of women.

Women’s Month is here and there has never been a better time to encourage girls and young women to be the best versions of themselves.

Ster-Status, a women empowerment organisation, is here for all women of all walks of life and to continue spreading a message of hope, wisdom and guidance, they held their annual charity golf day at Krugersdorp Golf Club on August 3.

The organisation also aims to uplift young women and girls in bettering themselves and society. It also gives a platform for the less vulnerable members of society by highlighting the difficulties that many have to face due to them having little to no opportunities to improve their lives. The young contestants who were part of the empowerment programme made their way onto the golf course to raise funds for young women and girls, as well as other community organisations with the sole purpose of coming to aid the vulnerable.

Among other projects they have taken part in are collaborations with Matla A Bana, a non-profit organisation that aims to bring awareness to child abuse in South Africa. The initiatives they have taken part in include child wellness programmes, donations of comfort packs for children and school safety programmes.
