Fantastic Festival of Ales a fervid hit for family and friends

This year's Festival of Ales was the perfect place to be to enjoy an exciting medieval adventure with friends and family.

Are you someone who has always dreamt of being a knight in shining armour? Are you in awe of folktales that involve dungeons and dragons?

On August 5, the Greensleeves Medieval Kingdom in Sterkfontein was the place to be for this year’s Festival of Ales where visitors had a chance of letting their imagination run wild and enjoy an exciting adventure with friends and family.

Many visitors had an unforgettable experience on the day when the vibes of the past crossed paths with the delights of the present. There, one had a chance to spoil yourself with not only delicious food but also some hearty drinks. One could even take part in exciting and incredible medieval games.

Guests at the market further dressed the part which included anything medieval from Game of Thrones, kings and queens, knights, Vikings and witches. There were several activities to take part in as well from jumping castles for children and great entertainment for adults.
