Market in Kenmare a success with Krugersdorp-Oos Gemeente

Spring is around the corner but the NG Krugersdorp-Oos Gemeente gave residents one last fun winter festival on Women's Day.

Family and friends gathered at the NG Krugersdorp-Oos Gemeente’s Winterfees on a chilly August 9 to celebrate Women’s Day with a bang.

From music to games and market stalls available, there was a little something for everyone to bring home and remember the fun morning. The food stalls were a definite favourite among young and old with the pannekoek queue constantly overlapping the rest. Visitors had the choice of having to pick a book, a succulent, or a jewellery piece while children had fun on jumping castles or enjoyed a pony ride.

Numerous schools’ revue groups also had the opportunity to showcase their exceptional talent on the church’s stage. The church was grateful for the turnout and residents are clearly eager to be out and about with spring around the corner.

“Today was truly a festival! Thank you to everyone who came to support us and those who worked, sponsored, baked, tasted, danced and hung out,” the church said in a statement.
