Waste collections to return to normal – here is the plan

Mogale City Local Municipality has released a statement to explain when refuse in certain areas will be collected.

The municipality’s Waste Management Division wishes to apologise to residents and businesses affected by the non-provision of waste collection in their respective areas on September 15 and 18.

Mogale City Local Municipality communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu said that to ensure all residents are serviced by the end of this week, a recovery plan and additional resources have been put together and will be implemented from today, September 19 as follows:

• The areas that should have been serviced on September 15 and 18 will now get attention today September 19
• Tuesday and Wednesday areas will be serviced on Wednesday, September 20
• Both Thursday and Friday areas will be serviced per the normal schedule

The municipality apologises to the residents and appeals to them to be patient.
