She described herself as friendly, someone with a great sense of humour, a big heart and extremely dedicated toward staff, learners and parents.

To top it all, Louisa has been at the school since 2000 and during this time she has been the Departmental Head in the Foundation Phase. She has also been actively involved in extracurricular activities.

Millies has been my home for many years. I am thankful for how the school has treated me throughout my career and now is the time to give back in another way.

“I have always felt like Millies is where I belong and where I can live out my passion. This is what the Lord has called me to do and I believe this is my purpose.”

Louisa has big plans for Millies as she hopes to achieve academic excellence by working with staff, children, and parents to ensure they get the best education.

“I strive towards good academic performance and communication between staff, parents and learners. A happy learner is on top of the agenda. My message to parents is that we can move mountains by co-operating with each other. I say live your life to the fullest, the sky is the limit. Education is of utmost importance and as Nelson Mandela once said … ‘Education is the great engine of personal development’.”
