Thank you, Krugersdorp – Little Eden

Little Eden Society thanks the Krugersdorp community for its support and generosity in 2024.

The care and well-being of 300 residents living with profound intellectual disability is at the heart of everything they do at The Little Eden Society.

Little Eden’s public relations co-ordinator Gaahele Mokgoro said last year could have been much harder without the kindness and generosity of individuals and organisations.

“Your support made it possible for us to continue providing the quality care that our residents deserve – a true testament to your compassion and commitment to making a difference. Your generosity has been our source of strength, enabling us to navigate last year’s challenges and still meet the needs of those entrusted to our care. Whether through financial contributions, donations in kind, or simply standing by us with words of encouragement, your efforts have been nothing short of extraordinary,” she thanked the community.

“We want to take a moment to express our profound gratitude to you. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in our mission, and for allowing us to create a better world for our residents. We look forward to 2025 with hope and determination, knowing that with supporters like you by our side, we can overcome any challenge and continue our vital work,” she expressed to the community.

She concluded to remind residents that if they have any unused goods collecting dust at their house, they can donate them by dropping them off point at the U Can Store, where they have a storage room, in Cradlestone Mall.

Items such as clothing, furniture, kitchenware, electronics, toys and shoes, are essential in supporting the daily needs and care of The Little Eden Society.
