School shoes for those in need

Local NPOs partner to get school shoes for those who need them.

School shoes are an important item every learner should have, however, for some, it is a challenge due to their circumstances.

CEO of The Bethany House Trust (BHT), Gert Jonker, is grateful to partner BHT and Ikusasa Youth Care Centre with CDR Equipping.

“CDR Equipping has partnered with 12 incredible organisations to distribute 500 pairs of new school shoes to children in our communities. Together, we are ensuring that every child can walk with dignity into their God-given destiny,” he said.

On January 19, Gert and his team distributed the shoes. He added that they lifted each child in prayer, trusting God to guide their steps and open doors to a future filled with hope, purpose and transformation.

“Let us continue to pray for these children, their families, and our communities as we walk together in kindness and faith,” he concluded.
