Woman’s body found in sewage plant

Gauteng Water Police and Diving Services has recovered two bodies across the province – one of which was found in Swaneville, Kagiso.

Rapid Response Services spokesperson Raymond Sambo said police responded to a suspected drowning scene at a sewage plant in Kagiso on Tuesday morning, February 11.

“The victim is an unknown woman. The body was handed over to Kagiso police for further investigation,” Sambo said.

“Anyone with more information regarding the incidents is encouraged to contact the relevant police station or Crime Stop number 08600 10111,” he concluded.
