Help dignify women in Muldersdrift – Donate bras and sanitary pads

In preparation for Women's Month in August, councillor Shenan Cochrane is calling on the community to lend a helping hand by supporting women living in Muldersdrift's informal settlements.

Councillor Shenan Cochrane calls on the community to donate bras and sanitary products for women in Muldersdrift’s informal settlements ahead of Women’s Month.

She said they are collecting new and second-hand bras to distribute to women in the community, as well as teaching them how to correctly fit one.

“This is the perfect time to clean out your unwanted and unused bras. Besides the bras, we will also be collecting sanitary towels for younger women,” Shenan said.

If you want to donate these items, drop them off at Harvest Feeds on Drift Boulevard and Cradlestone Mall’s information desk before July 30.
