Driver seriously injured after late-night crash on Voortrekker Road
At about 23:30 on July 5, a driver lost control, rolled and crashed his vehicle on Voortrekker Road, directly opposite the roadhouse.
Just before midnight on Saturday, July 5, a driver lost control of his vehicle, collided with a tree and overturned on Voortrekker Road near the roadhouse.
Emergency services responded to the scene and had to extract one injured occupant from the wreckage.
The West Rand Emergency Services’ regional commander, Gerhard Nieuwoudt, confirmed a man was seriously injured. His age is unknown at this stage.
“The man was trapped and had multiple fractures. The crew extracted and transported him to the hospital,” he concluded.
