Cyclist killed in tragic crash in Muldersdrift

A fatal accident occurred this afternoon, July 26, on Beyers Naudé Drive in Muldersdrift.

According to Guardmax Protection Services director Jan Venter, a cyclist was struck from behind by a bakkie and died at the scene.

“We can confirm that a cyclist was hit from behind by a bakkie near Cradle Moon. The cyclist died on the scene after police completed their forensic work. ER24 also arrived to assist following the tragic incident,” said Venter.
