A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Robert Broom Drive, this morning.

A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Robert Broom Drive near the Van Oordt Street intersection at about 07:15 on Saturday, November 8.

According to tow truck driver Paul Viljoen, the woman was allegedly crossing the road when she was hit.

The right lane of Robert Broom Drive heading towards Chancliff has been closed off while police, private security, and Gauteng Provincial Government EMS attend the scene.
