Security inspections now in place at Coronation Park

All vehicles entering and exiting Coronation Park will now be inspected as part of enhanced security measures to protect municipal assets.

Coronation Park has sharpened their security to ensure a safe environment for the public and workers at the park.

Councillor Amy Steyn stated that, as of January 20, all vehicles entering or leaving the park will be subject to security personnel inspections.

“This applies to both members of the public and municipal employees. These measures have been introduced to prevent the theft of municipal equipment and machinery, and to strengthen overall security,” she said.

She concluded by urging the community to cooperate fully with the new procedures to help ensure the safety of municipal assets and park visitors.
