No cause for alarm: Valley View to run emergency drill

Valley View Retail Centre will be conducting an emergency evacuation drill on Wednesday, February 4.

Centre management’s Odette Fourie confirmed the drill will take place at 08:00 and is expected to be completed by 08:30. Emergency sirens will sound at the start of the exercise.

“The drill will be conducted in conjunction with the relevant authorities. The public is reminded that this is only a drill and that there is no cause for alarm,” Fourie said.

Centre management has further thanked shoppers, tenants and nearby residents for their co-operation and understanding during the exercise.
