A large truck overturned in the Oaktree area late on the evening of February 9, authorities confirmed.

West Rand Emergency Services regional commander Gerhard Nieuwoudt said the overturned vehicle was a heavy truck. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries that required medical attention but could be treated safely at a later time.

Multiple emergency resources responded to the scene, including West Rand Emergency Services teams, ambulances and police.
