Free water and electricity for Ward 19
Households in Ward 19 can apply for free basic services at Pentecostal Holiness Church from February 18 to 20 – make sure you bring all the required documents.
Households in Ward 19 can register for free basic services through the Mogale City Local Municipality’s (MCLM) indigent management programme.
According to MCLM’s assistant manager for media and PR, Refilwe Mahlangu, the ward-based registration will take place at Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the corner of Bathoeng and Bapoo streets, from February 18 to 20.

Residents can register between 09:00 and 14:00 and must bring the following documents:
• Proof of income (latest three months’ bank statements) or an affidavit if unemployed
• SASSA confirmation letter if receiving social grants
• Certified copies of identity documents for yourself, your spouse, and dependents
• Latest municipal account and prepaid electricity meter number
• Proof of marital status (marriage certificate, divorce decree, proof of customary union, or death certificate)
• Letter of authority or executorship if the property and municipal account are not in your name
Mahlangu added that residents may be asked to provide additional documents during the registration process.
