Stolen motorcycle found hidden in Muldersdrift

Quick action and continued investigation ensured the motorcycle was returned safely to its rightful owner.

A local security company acted on a tip-off about a suspected stolen motorcycle at an informal settlement in the Muldersdrift area.

According to Guardmax Protection Services director Jan Venter, the incident occurred at about 15:00 on February 21. Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough investigation and discovered a motorcycle hidden inside a garage on the property.

“After further investigation, the owner was located, and it was confirmed that the motorcycle had been reported stolen. The motorcycle was recovered, and a person was successfully apprehended,” said Venter.

The owner later arrived at the scene and provided proof of ownership. The recovered motorcycle was then handed back to its rightful owner.
