Millennium learners embrace fun and games day

Casual clothes, creative games and plenty of laughter marked the school’s much-anticipated fun day.

A crucial part of childhood is the opportunity to play and have fun, and Laerskool Millennium set aside a day to celebrate just that.

The school’s annual fun and games day took place on February 27. Organiser Christa Coertzen described it as one of the highlights of the year.

She explained that the day was designed to give learners a break from academic pressures and allow them to enjoy a carefree day of play.

Learners arrived in casual clothes without school bags, bringing only lunch, a costume and a towel. Each class either hosted a game or ran a stall. Activities included treasure hunts, ring toss and a ghost house.
