Curamus Spring Market continues to support their cause
Over a thousand visitors have popped in, and they hope to have many more.
With the Curamus School for Autism’s Spring Market in full swing, support for the school continues to grow.
The annual Spring Market is celebrating its 10th year and started on September 1 and will continue until Saturday. According to the principal, Michelle van Zyl, the market serves as a fundraiser to keep the school operational and fund its feeding scheme.
She spoke to the Krugersdorp News, which visited the market, and mentioned the wonderful attendance and how the community is doing its part to support the school.
With about 1 000 people already visiting the market, they are hopeful to welcome many more today and on Saturday for the big conclusion at about 17:00.
The annual Spring Walk, where all their learners will walk around the school, will take place at 09:00 tomorrow. She encourages the community to join, as there will be many activities for the entire family.
“There will also be a children’s corner on Saturday, so parents can enjoy the market and support local vendors from around town,” she concluded.
