The Krugersdorp Rotary Anns extended their sincere gratitude to the local community for supporting their Shoe Drive project, which was a resounding success with 100 shoe donations.

According to Rotary Anns secretary Julia du Plessis, the Anns received an overwhelming number of shoe donations and continue to receive more pairs every week. The first donations were made to Tower of Life, a shelter for homeless men.

Recipient organisations

Ikusasa House, a haven for abandoned boys, and Wings of Inspiration, a home supporting vulnerable women and children, were also recipients of the shoes.

“Every pair of shoes donated makes a meaningful difference to someone in need. The support helped us reach a wider audience and enabled us to provide much-needed assistance to these organisations,” said Julia.
