Millies learners and teachers roar for their province

Numerous learners and teachers of Laerskool Millennium Primary have been selected to represent the Gauteng province in hockey and rugby.

Laerskool Millennium Primary is standing tall and proud and rightly so following numerous provincial sporting achievements.

On the rugby field, eight learners were chosen for these respective Golden Lions rugby teams. Tshepang Mazibuko and Faith Thutelo will represent the U12 side while Ashley Ludongeni, Alwande Ngcobo, Olerato Matlako, Thato Tola, Junior Pelego, and Khalalelo Kheteng will be roaring for the U13 side.

In addition, three of Millennium’s educators were also selected as part of the Golden Lions rugby coaching teams. Gerhard Scholtz will be coaching the U12 Simba team, Tumelo Keotleng the U/12 Mufasa team while Christiaan Pienaar is team manager for the U12 Scar team.

In hockey, Mpho Molikwe is part of the U13 Gauteng West D2 hockey team and will she be attending a tour in Potchefstroom during the school holidays.
