Alma Mater welcomes Gr 1s of 2024

Alma Mater International School's parents and teachers were full of joy to see the new set of Grade Ones begin their school journey.

It’s all systems go for the new grade ones of Alma Mater International School.

The school welcomed the newbies on Monday, January 15 with parents, children, and teachers all eager and overwhelmed with joy. Understandable, as this is their first big step in education.

The youngsters were welcomed at the school by educators and staff of Alma Mater looking excited wherever they went. Carrying their books and stationery, it was a scenery to behold as there were of course some Grade Ones who were clinging onto their parents for dear life while others were spotted hiding behind mom and dad as they were too shy.

The anxiety, however, soon subsided and they quickly adapted to their new environment – a place they will call their ‘school home’ for the next seven years at least.

As parents were waving their little ones goodbye and retreating to their cars, you could hear the joy and excitement as they looked at photos they had taken of their children and could not have been more proud.
