Three schools in Munsieville to receive donation from govt

The government is to donate sports and arts equipment to three schools in Munsieville on the first day of school.

Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Morakane Mosupyoe visited three schools including an early childhood development centre (ECD), as well as a sports complex in Munsieville, as the 2024 academic year commenced on January 17.

Mosupyoe was at Diphalane Primary School and Thuto Lefa Secondary School and will thereafter make her way to a Munsieville ECD centre and sports complex this afternoon (January 17) where she will engage with school management and donate sports and art equipment.

The school visits will be followed by a broader educational stakeholder engagement session with the Munsieville community and surrounding areas to address the needs and challenges faced by our educational community as the new year ahead gets underway.
