Avianto teachers dress to lift spirits

Avianto Estate Private School uplifted its learners' spirits by having an undercover spirit week.

Uplifting learners’ spirit at school is a vital part of education, as it encourages learners to work hard on their academics.

For this reason, Avianto Estate Private School recently saw it fit to have an undercover spirit week.

Kelleigh Coetzee, the social media manager at the school, said the week was a fun way to build excitement as they approach the end of the year. The event was a surprise for the learners, designed to create a cheerful and engaging atmosphere.

“Every day of the week we had teachers dress up to different themes, to keep spirits high at the school,” she explained.

Monday started with the teachers wearing all black, on Tuesday it was socks and sandals, Wednesday saw them drinking from anything but a cup, on Thursday they had to wear their clothing inside-out and on Friday it was Christmas-themed outfits.
