Happy Curro matriculants bid farewell to school

Curro Krugersdorp High School matriculants will now move on to bigger and better things as they finish school.

Curro Krugersdorp High School’s Class of 2024 were seen embracing each other in celebration following the release of their final matric results.

It was an occasion that marked the end of their school adventure and the beginning of their adulthood journey.

Joining the learners in the celebration were teachers, staff and of course, family and friends. From taking a gap year to working or studying, the future might seem uncertain yet all are eager to take any challenges head on.

Samkelo Madlala, for example, is looking forward to studying marketing while Wandile Tshabalala expressed how much he will miss the school environment once at university.

Emotions are high.

According to the school’s marketer, Amoryn Wright, the school did exceptionally well in Afrikaans First Additional Language with the school being a top performer in the subject.

“We are incredibly proud to announce that three of our learners have been recognised by the Independent Examinations Board [IEB] as part of the top one per cent in the country for Afrikaans First Additional Language. The IEB sets a high academic standard, making this recognition an exceptional accomplishment. We want to give a big congratulations to especially Amber Brand, Dewald Esterhuizen and Kaylin Kruger who were our top performers.”
