KHS matriculants chuffed with their results

KHS matriculants now look ahead to life after school.

As the Class of 2024 at Krugersdorp High School (KHS) collected their National Senior Certificate (NSC) matric results on January 14, many had tears of joy and heartache.

It has been a long school journey, but now it is good riddance to school uniforms and assemblies as these matriculants enter the ‘big world’.

During the Krugersdorp News’ visit to the school, matriculants were spotted standing in long queues eager and anxious to collect their NSC results. Thereafter, the Class of 2024 said their last goodbyes to both teachers and their peers.

Thapelo Lebakeng expressed how he looks forward to studying and starting a new chapter in his life.

”It will be challenging as a young adult but I look forward to what lies ahead.”

Khanya Nkambule will be studying at the University of Johannesburg.

”KHS has been my home for years so it’s hard to say goodbye. I truly appreciate everything I experienced and wish everyone great success.”
