Laerskool Millennium Primary School assistant teacher Dewan Booysen was selected to coach the Gauteng West U10 Cricket team for a second consecutive year.

According to cricket organiser Gerhard Nagel, Booysen will serve as the team’s coach, umpire and manager, with training and matches taking place during August and September ahead of the Johannesburg West Primary Schools U9 and U10 Cricket Festival from September 23 to 25.

Booysen was selected for his dedication to cricket. He coaches mini-cricket and the first team and also assists with the school’s girls’ cricket team.
