Drugs to be addressed within the family unit

Wow, I read with interest the crime stats of Krugersdorp featured on the news’ website.

I must say I am a little surprised that drug-related crime almost doubled for this year. I though the police had a firm hand on it.

But I wish the police could elaborate more on what drug-related crimes are. I would like to know how many people were arrested for possession, dealing, under the influence and so forth.

We all know that ‘Little Nigeria’ is the main hub and that most crimes probably occur there. I think it is time the police set up a mobile station in that area, I can guarantee you that crime will have dropped drastically by next year.

Maybe it is just wishful thinking.

It is just really sad that so many lives are destroyed by drugs. I really believe that this is not just a police problem, but definitely a problem that needs to be addressed at home, within the family bonds.

Many will disagree with me, I know.

Fortunately I was rescued from the gripping claws of drug dealers by my own family for whom I am so grateful.

Our bond is stronger than ever and since we started dealing with my addiction problem as a family, our lives became easier.

I am just saying, its not always the police’s responsibility to clean up your family’s mess.
