New race course in Krugersdorp West?

Etienne from Krugersdorp West writes:

I seem to have missed the notice declaring Naudé Street in Krugersdorp West between Rustenburg Road and Luipaard Street, a new race course.

Not only is it a race course, but clearly also a testing station for the likes of ten tonners, bikers and any other idiot who feels the need to test the maximum speed their super-charged, noise-barrier-breaking excuse for a vehicle can reach.

The only stop sign is ignored totally as this inadvertently would diminish any effort of setting up a new Krugersdorp speed record.

We have a number of day-care facilities, school children crossing and also the regular folks using this road. Notwithstanding the risk of getting seriously hurt or even killed, we as rate payers do not even have the benefit of watching these idiots race for free.

Sarcasm aside, what do we have to do to have speed control enforcement implemented?

I sincerely hope my plea will be noticed by the local traffic department/ municipality.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
