
At a recent ward committee meeting we learned that the levels of crime were at a record high. Housebreaking between 7am and 9am was the most prevalent closely followed by theft of motor vehicles and from motor vehicles.
Please do not park on the streets.
The contract to run the Krugersdorp Game Reserve has been given to the Red Ants whose competence in this area is doubtful/ unverified.
The animals are all stressed and so not reproducing and recently they lost two lions.
The Municipality have taken on a R230 million loan for the development of infrastructure. That’s going to cost us R3 million a month. How are they going to pay it when they can’t even pay their Eskom bill on time?
The Municipality have lost their case alleging that they own the accounting computer program for rates and taxes.
The court said it was clear from the contract that it is leased. Now it seems they are going to appeal to the Constitutional Court and waste lots more of our money.
Why does the newspaper fail to advise the public on these matters?
