Why no load shedding schedule Mogale City?

It is such a pity that Krugersdorp Municipality cannot publish a load shedding schedule.

My wife is bedridden and it is difficult to provide the necessary assistance to her when one has to plan around a nonexistent schedule.

Krugersdorp Municipality says we should get the schedule from Eskom. Eskom does not have a load shedding schedule for Krugersdorp or Mogale City. They refer us back to the municipality.

I place a request on record to Krugersdorp news to assist the residents of Krugersdorp and publish a load shedding schedule. Possibly somebody in authority will bow to the pressure that you could apply.

Thank you for your letter Mr Calvert. Residents should understand that load shedding comes directly from Eskom and that a schedule is just a guideline or reference to be used if continued load shedding is required. However, the decision to cut the electricity at any time lies with Eskom, therefore publishing a schedule might not reflect the true nature of the load shedding. If Mogale City does decide to draw up a schedule, we most certainly will publish it.
