Clearly not an emergency for Mogale City

Mrs Du Plessis from Krugersdorp West writes:

Just before 9pm one evening there was a blue flash at the pole in front of our house after which we ended up without electricity. We contacted the emergency number of Mogale City and I spoke to a man named TJ.

I told him what happened and he said the guy was busy in Munsieville, they knew about the problem and he would come out to fix it when he is finished.

My husband waited up and after a couple of hours their truck drove up the street and that was it.

He phoned them again and told them the truck drove up the street and did not stop. At 5am the next morning we still did not have electricity and I phoned again and spoke to TJ. His answer was he didn’t know what happened or why he did not come to our house but he would call him again.

It is not much help to us as we are still without electricity and the emergency electrician at Mogale just did not seem to care.

About five houses were affected. Do we have to wait until forever for Mogale to get their act together and sort out the electricity at the pole?
