You are not alone, the whole of Mogale City is complaining about the municipality’s high-handed actions, high bills, high admin fees, lack of assistance and so forth.
Complaints against government departments may be lodged with the Public Protector.
Legitimate claims that can be backed by proof may be submitted to the Public Protector for investigation: 0800 11 20 40 or 012 966 7143 or email customerservice@pprotect.org.
This is not a quick fix, however, if enough genuine complaints are lodged just maybe some action might be taken. Here is hoping.
