As a citizen and resident of Krugersdorp West I want to raise my concerns on the current operations of the upgrading of the water systems.
We only received a letter two days after my driveway, together with my pavement, was trenched.
The person in charge promised my wife and I that he will replace the tar in my driveway and fix my lawn.
This, however, was three months ago and I phoned this person and he again made promises.
Holes on my pavement is posing a serious hazard to anyone passing through this area. No risk assessment is available for this job or the person doesn’t want to share with us the risk assessment.
I spent a lot of time and money to make my lawn nice and level. It is going to cost me another R10 000 to fix my place to what it once was. That is why I need to tell people how I feel about this operation.
If I knew this, I never would have bought a house in Mogale City. I am really disappointed and it not nice to live in these conditions. Why can’t this contractor take one block, finish it and fix it before moving to another block?
