Don’t mistreat co-workers in front of customers

Utterly disgusted from Krugersdorp writes.

On 23 September I was at one of my favourite shops in Mindalore getting some lunch.

While waiting at the till to pay, two staff members, a young girl and an older lady, came through a door that leads to the front counter where customers are served.

The older woman was swearing vehemently at the younger one, using the foulest of language and rage. Just like me, the other customers in the shop stopped to stare. The girl said nothing while the woman finished her rant and went back through the door.

I am disgusted at what I saw. Is it necessary to swear and shout?

The other customers didn’t look impressed at all, and one even told the manager to control her staff.

I am sad that people treat others like that. We are all human. And to be treated like that in front of others is humiliating. It disappoints me and angers me that people do that.

I never will take my business there again, as I won’t support a place that treats its staff the way I witnessed.

Might this explain why there are always new faces working there?
