On Monday 12 October I pulled out of my driveway and proceeded to work as I do daily but unfortunately on this day I only made it to the traffic light at the corner of Third and Viljoen Streets.
I was involved in an accident. I was trapped in my company vehicle and could not get out. Fortunately for me there were two youngsters who were right there when it happened. They realised I was trapped and saw that I wanted to get out but couldn’t. They came to my rescue and helped me out of the vehicle.
Once they got me out they asked if I were fine and where I lived. They went to my house to inform my wife of the accident. They left me their names and contact number and I then learnt they were Wynhand Bruyns and Andre Grobler.
I’m not sure if they want their names and surnames in the newspaper, but nevertheless I truly would like to thank these two young men. Thank you, Wynhand and Andre from the bottom of my heart. Julle is ware mans en mag julle daarvoor geseën word.
