There was a riot at the informal settlement near West Village and what did the police do? Nothing!
There have been burned tires, boulders and tree-sized logs laying in the road the whole day and what has our municipality done? Nothing!
On my way home I drove past a cop car, not that he was assisting to clean and make the road safe for tax payers. He seemed more interested in talking to the people passing by or drinking outside the shebeen.
Oh well, I guess some things will never change.
